Face Mask Review: Lush Love Lettuce

It isn't the first time I heard about Lush. The first time I heard about it was on one day four years ago, my housemate happily gathered everyone. She then declared to all of us to please do not place a single touch on this black, round tub (which can be easily mistaken as a chocolate ice cream tub because it says chocolate on it) in the communal fridge. It is a handmade chocolate mask from Lush.  Yes, in the fridge and it is chocolate.

Fancy mask, I thought. On top of that, it has a short expiry date- in 3-4 weeks.

Over time, I heard a few recommendations about it but did not try it. Here i am today, with my first tub of Lush mask called Love Lettuce. The shop always put pots of mask of a choice of 8-10 mask on a tub of ice like raw fish in supermarkets. Out of all choices, I chose Love Lettuce.

It has 14 special ingredients: almond oil, seaweed gel, honey, almond crunch, kaolin, lavender oil etc. It is awesome. Trust me on this. It smells of a slight hint of lavender, which is already a plus point because who doesn't like the smell of lavender. It is calming and nice!

Also, it has almond crunch which functions to massage/exfoilate your skin and almond oil to leave moisture on your skin. After applying the mask, I also applied some on my hand and legs and it feels great. It will become subtle like a baby skin after rinsing it off with warm water. Well recommended. I love it.
