Have you ever worry about what to do with the leftover fried rice or fried noodles..
Or are you just bored about having the same food the next meal just because you can't finish it!
Haha previously my friend ordered a meal from a chinese takeaway.. with some fried noodle, fried rice and mushroom curry..
With the big portion of food served in the UK, it is quite impossible to fit the food served in an asian tummy at one go. So, the next day, we bought a packet of mozzarella cheese at GBP1 to create a new dish: cheese baked rice..

Accompanying the dish, we also had fried german sausage (which was gifted by a friend who visited Munich in the Easter) and sweet corn cobs for the veggie portion of the meal and panna cotta for dessert made yesterday.

Apparently, it is easy to make. All you need is double cream, milk, sugar and gelatine. It is a perfect share among 4 but best if shared among 5 or 6.. haha
To make the panna cotta... heat 200ml double cream and 115 g (or less) sugar together. Then add 2 softened gelatine leaves to dissolve completely. Strain the mixture into a bowl and stir in 100ml milk. Refrigerate it for 4 hours or more and voila..
For the raspberry coulis, heat small amount of water, raspberry and sugar until it becomes soft..
Although my end product doesn't shaped well.. hmm.. but there is always time and room for improvement.. it tastes certainly well!
**For better result to turn over the refrigerated panna cotta, you may want to grease the bowl or ramekin with some oil.. In addition, you can add 50ml of buttermilk when the milk is added into the mixture to make your panna cotta tastes better.. Although I skipped out the buttermilk, it is sufficiently fragrant and yummy. ;)
