went to three places:
1. Notre dame de la garde: wondeeful sea and hilltol scenery
2. Pavilion M
3.palais longchamp: houses two museums now and was home to napolean the third. A nice place. The weather was good. Breezy and sunny. :)
Too bad we couldn't visit the musee d'historie de marseille, because it was under construction. It was a palais as well and it is in the same building as galerie la fayette in marseille.
* pavilion M, which houses a museum and an exhibition hall. The museum provides good information about the past developments and future developments of marseille city. It was interesting and brief. I enjoyed it very much as they used interesting and innovative ways of presentation to transfer their message.
Then we went to a good restaurant for dinner. Having conversed with the chef, I now look forward to tomorrow's journey: "a mad men's house" and villa meditaranean. :)
